Patience. / by Kelsey Hamaguchi

Whoops, didn't have time to do a blog post yesterday. Woke up at 5:20AM for my 7AM host shift and didn't get to leave till almost 11PM. Breakfast and lunch was so slow...we did only about 20 covers combined. Anyway, decided today's post should be about patience. Depending on the situation, I can either be really patient, or have no patience at all. I'm slowly realising how important it is to learn to be patient. Yes, it's hard, but it is definitely a good trait to have. It's no secret that people can push our buttons, doing things that may drive us to the point of insanity, but it's important to be patient. Generally, people mean well and aren't trying to cause others harm. If someone's asking a million questions, it's obviously because they don't understand the situation and would like to. It's not their fault they don't know, and they can't help it if they're a bit slower at learning than others. My new goal is to be more patient with others. I need to put myself in their position and react the way in which I would want someone to speak to me.

Here are some photos I took while on the London Eye. God, I miss this city more and more. My heart actually aches looking at photos of this beautiful city, but I can't draw my eyes away. It's a surreal memory and I just can't let it go...
