My name is Kelsey Hamaguchi and I am a designer and photographer. I was born and raised on the island of O'ahu in Hawai'i and ended up in Poughkeepsie, New York for college. From NY, I decided to spend a semester abroad in London, United Kingdom and had the opportunity to travel to different countries and cities. I love photography and graphic design because I'm able to express myself and my creativity. Photography has always been important to me, because I love being able to capture a moment that I can look back on, and instantly be reminded of the memories of the events that were happening at that time. I doubt myself a lot, but am constantly trying to find ways to improve. I don't necessarily find that as being negative though, it's just part of the creative process.
I am currently a receptionist at iHeartMedia Honolulu. In the past I was a server at Morimoto Waikiki and the social media intern for a local eco friendly fashion clothing company, Tsubaki Himé as well as Creative Director of Conscious Designers Hawai'i. In my spare time I try to keep my creativity flowing by freelancing for my friends in areas of photography and graphic design.
